Multiplier Troubleshooting

Find below some of the common Multiplier errors and possible solutions.

This error can occur when the temperature sensor is covered during the heating process. To avoid this, do not cover the temperature sensor at any time (e.g. with your hands or a template). The sensor will not be able to measure the temperature accurately if it is covered.

To solve the issue, try the following:

  • Restart the forming process, ensuring that the sensor is not covered.
  • Run the Self Test Programme.

If the problem persists, contact support@mayku.me with photos of the Error Code/Message on the screen, as well as your machine's serial number.

When attempting to perform tank draining maintenance, an error may appear due to an obstructed overpressure valve on the bottom of the machine. To resolve this issue, try the following:

  • Remove any cloths under the machine to collect water and run the tank vent again.
  • If this does not work, pull the ring tab on the overpressure valve. This will create a loud noise and cover your hands in water.

If the problem persists, contact support@mayku.me with photos of the Error Code/Message on the screen and the machine's serial number.

This error appears when attempting to update the firmware. It is typically caused by a WiFi connection that is too slow to download the update. To resolve the issue, try the following:

  • Restart the Multiplier and leave it switched on. The firmware should update automatically in the background, and a small green icon will appear in the top left corner when it is complete.
  • Contact support@mayku.me with photos, including the Error Code/Message on the screen and the machine's serial number.

There are a few reasons why the Multiplier lid may not be closing. To fix the issue, please try the following:

Apply more downward force to the middle of the handle.

Make sure the two locks are not in a vertical position when closing the lid. Twist them counterclockwise to set them in the correct position.

Check that the lock ring is on its home position.

If you still have issues closing the lid, contact support@mayku.me. Please include the Multiplier serial number, as well as videos or photos of the process.

Excessive sheet drooping during the heating process may be indicative of a problem with the vacuum pump. If you are experiencing this issue, please contact support@mayku.me with photos and the machine's serial number.

A purple bleed on the screen indicates physical damage to the screen caused during shipping or while being used.

If your Multiplier screen presents a purple bleed, contact support@mayku.me with photos and the machine's serial number.
